Who We Are

Athletes in Action, University of California Berkeley is a student-led ministry that seeks to serve the Cal campus and athletic department through a community actively seeking to know God better. Our constant prayer is that a spiritual movement will begin at Cal through AIA, that God will use us in such a way to bring our teammates to know Him, and that we will be bold in our faith, standing firm in the Gospel in order to exemplify Christ’s love and grace daily.

AIA offers several outlets and opportunities for athletes all over campus to be a part of the Body of Christ on campus. We hold a weekly meeting every Wednesday night with a message and music. Other outlets include three Bible studies throughout the week for Men, Women, and a new co-ed Bible study. We have found that through the small group setting at AIA we are able to create lasting Christ-centered relationships with other athletes in this community.

Mission

Our mission is to serve the Cal community, and more specifically the athletic department, actively seeking to create and strengthen a relationship with God. We pray that God will use AIA as a spiritual movement to bring teammates and colleagues to Christ and encourage ways we can incorporate God with our sport.
