Weekly Meetings

Where: Haas Pavilion Club Room*

When: Wednesday nights 7:30-8:45

What: the whole AIA community comes together and we have rotating student stories, speakers, worship, and a chance to learn more about our community and to connect with staff and others outside of your sport!

*Subject to occasional change based on availability, follow us on Instagram for updates

Small Groups/Bible Studies

Some teams have their own bible studies based on existing interest, and we also have men’s and women’s multi-sport studies. Fill out the Get Connected form if you’re interested in joining or starting one!

We’ll have different stuff going on each semester. We’ll announce these at the weekly meeting or on Instagram! These may include:

  • Fenton’s Fridays: A couple times per semester we go to the historic Fenton’s Ice Cream in Oakland (featured in the movie “Up”).

  • Friendsgiving: just what it sounds like - a bunch of friends getting together for a thanksgiving meal!

Community Service, Volunteering, & Missions

We currently are connected with an elementary school in Richmond through Jessica Robinson, one of our staff volunteers, who teaches there. We are also looking for other ways to serve the local community if you have suggestions or know ways to partner with local churches in their efforts.

We have other opportunities a service trip to Puerto Peñasco, Mexico in December (see the Mission Opportunities section).

If you have other questions or want more info, fill out the Get Connected form.

Meeting with a staff member or student leader
